The head of the Swedish armed forces, Micael Bydén, said today that he does not rule out the armed forces scaling up its readiness in this Nordic nation if Russia attacks Ukraine.
Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson told the same news conference that she had spoken with the President of Ukraine and expressed her support.
“It’s incredibly important that we follow developments in Ukraine and see what this leads to. But at the same time it’s important that we take responsibility for and and see what happens here at home. We rule nothing out,” Supreme Commander Bydén told a news conference.
