Lyssna: Swedes urged to leave Ukraine
All Swedes who are in Ukraine are being urged to leave the country as soon as possible.
Sweden’s Ministry for Foreign Affairs also says that Swedes remaining in Ukraine need to ‘take great caution’ and continuously assess the embassy’s travel information. The ministry is also advising against all travel to the country.
There are 200-300 Swedes in Ukraine, one of them is Anders Östlund who has lived in Kyiv since 2009: “It is not so easy to move”, he tells Swedish Radio News.
