  • Swedish-American pole vaulter Armand Duplantis broke the outdoors world best last night at the Diamond League competition at Stockholm Stadium when jumping 6.16m.

  • It does not count as a world record, but it is the highest outdoor jump of all time.

  • The pole vault world record stands at 6.20m, it was set by Duplantis indoors in Serbia earlier this year.
