Swedish-American pole vaulter Armand Duplantis broke the outdoors world best last night at the Diamond League competition at Stockholm Stadium when jumping 6.16m.

It does not count as a world record, but it is the highest outdoor jump of all time.

The pole vault world record stands at 6.20m, it was set by Duplantis indoors in Serbia earlier this year.
