The Covid-19 resurgence in Hongkong has taken a toll on businesses and celebrity enterprises have naturally not been spared either.
In order to survive, TVB actor Shaun Tam’s steakhouse Forkers in To Kwa Wan has had to pivot to take-out, and it has also applied for a licence to sell raw meat and ham products.
Even then, business has reportedly dropped by 90 per cent, resulting in losses of more than HK$100,000 (S$17.4K) in the past two months.
