Gators eyeing this top-25 QB recruit, sets unofficial visit date

Head coach Billy Napier and his staff are hard at work putting all of their efforts into rebuilding a once-storied Florida football program. As the summer months roll in, that endeavor is now laser-focused on the recruiting front, an area where previous coaching regimes have fallen short over the past decade and an imperative for any school looking to tangle among the top teams.

While the Gators are currently in pursuit of California quarterback Jaden Rashada as their primary plan, the team is also considering its contingencies in case they fall short of their goal. Among those is three-star QB Brock Glenn out of Memphis (Tennessee) Lausanne Collegiate School, who ranks in the top 25 at the position nationally.

According to On3’s Auburn Live, Glenn is planning on an unofficial visit to Gainesville on June 13, having already stopped by to see the Auburn Tigers and TCU Horned Frogs. The Tennessean play-caller also currently holds offers from a plethora of schools, including the Florida State Seminoles, Missouri Tigers, Kentucky Wildcats and Mississippi State Bulldogs, in addition to Florida.

The 6-foot-2-inch, 185-pound passer is the No. 406 prospect overall and the No. 23 quarterback nationally in the 2023 class per the 247Sports Composite, while the On3 Consensus has him at No. 484 and No. 24, respectively. On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine has Auburn out in front in his recruitment with a 96.6% chance of landing him.
