Lyssna: Fewer Ukrainians than expected to seek refuge in Sweden

The Migration Agency today lowered its forecast of how many Ukrainian refugees it expects to arrive in Sweden over the coming months.

It had previously forecast 76,000 arrivals by June but the agency now estimates that a total of around 80,000 Ukrainian refugees will flee to Sweden in the whole of 2022.

At a press conference, the director-general of the Migration Agency, Mikael Ribbenvik, said that any assessment of weekly arrivals is fraught with great uncertainty.
