Swedish Finance Minister Mikael Damberg said he expects the EU to slap more sanctions on Russia but is unsure if they will target the Russian energy sector.
Damberg is in Luxembourg on Tuesday to discuss more possible sanctions with his fellow EU finance ministers.
Russia is one of the world’s top oil and gas suppliers and some EU member states are heavily reliant on it for their energy.
