Stockholm council’s naming committee says the city should not change the name of its street where Russia has its embassy.

There was public and political pressure to change Gjörwellgatan to something that would honor Ukraine or its president.

But Committee Chairman Olle Zetterberg says it’s best if the capital doesn’t rush into anything and says it traditionally has a conservative attitude to name changes.
